When
we arrived, there was still between two and three inches of snow on the
ground. This was really cool, since it gave the kids a chance to build
a snowman and have snowball fights. Here we are unloading.

SNOW! Pretty, pretty, snow.

I think a snowball fight is about to start.

Looks like Lisa stowed away in our vehicle again, and ended up at the ranch.

Yup. A snowball fight has started. That didn't take long...

See what happens when you have snowball fights?

This is baby stupid. Why do we have this picture?

Um. OK. A snowball. Wow.

See.
This is what happens when you have a wife that is motivated by
blogging. You end up with lots of pictures without any apparent purpose.

After the snowballs stopped flying (at least temporarily), the kids decided to build snowmen.

These next few pictures appear to be more mysterious blog motivated wastes of bits.

A sideways Mooms. I really should rotate these someday.

Nettie's new gun case (her Christmas present).

These sideways pictures -- I dunno...

Hey! A snowman! Cool!

Our first night's campfire (in the snow). It was cold, but the fire was warm and the hot dogs tasty.

Pretty sunset.

Playing
cards in the cabin, after supper. We sis this every night before we
went to sleep (except that I went to bed before anyone else).

A cold (15 degrees) morning on the ranch!

A good picture of a snow covered ranch.

Another picture of the spread, with snow on top.

Mudge
and the dogs were with me on this stroll around the property (this shot
taken near the southwest corner of the parcel), the rest were sleeping.

Hi Lisa!

On a hike to "Petroglyph Mountain".

Roo, after a snowball fight.

This shot really didn't turn out very well...

Yet another shot from the top of "Petroglyph Mountain".

The boy, running around, in yet another "Petroglyph Mountain" picture.

Roo built this igloo for that little blue guy atop of "Petroglyph Mountain".

This is one of those "Old West" shots.

We had hot dogs for supper again (and in fact, we had hot dogs every night).

A dirty boy with a book, eating a dog.

I think Lisa is cold.

I gues these next few shots shoudl be called "Life in the Tin Shed".

OK.
I call this thing "The Tinker". It is one of Nettie's Christmas
presents. You shoot these hangy-downy things with a .22. Then they go
"Tink" (hence the name).

Nettie
got frustrated right away shooting at the Tinker, since it was always
behind the weeds. This caused yet another stupid trip into town to
purchase these cinder blocks (and they are really heavy too).

See me lug heavy cinder blocks.

Lemme guess. Another blog photo.

Building a stand for the tinker.

Lisa got to shoot this weekend. This was her first time firing a gun.

This shot is to show how far the target is from her.

Another igloo.

The next day's hike to "Petroglyph Mountain". Lisa and Jacob had an unending snowball fight the entire hike.

Have we seen this little shack before?

Here we have the 5 millionth "Petroglyph Mountain" shot.

Baby stupid.

The but of baby stupid.

Now this is just plain silly.

This is even worse.

Nettie took this shot to show how I "hot-wired" the battery to charge my cell phone.
