Notes by Nettie:
Lovin' on Daddy on his Birthday-Eve (Make sure to notice the blue top on the cake - each and every one of the four bowls of color was used).

Daddy and his 40th Birthday Cake!

For the big Four-Oh, we took daddy and the whole family to the Renaissance Festival.  It was our first time, and we all had a blast!  Here are some children riding in the pirate ships.

Paul, Geneva and Jacob got to pose with the Giant!

Turkey Drumsticks!  It wouldn't be a Renaissance Festival without Turkey Drumsticks!

The girls got to ride the Elephant!  What a great memory!

We missed getting a picture of the one elephant that decided to schlobber all over the side of Paul's face - half his head was covered in elephant goobers!

I think this was the Leonardo Da Vinci Flying Machine.

The kids of our neighbors from up north (the ranch), the Namkungs, visited us this month. There much noise making and running about. Here they are!

Another picture of the Namkungs (Ashley and Melissa)  with our kids.

Jacob and Brandon, playing with trains.

Goofing around.

Ring around the rosie...

Pockets full of posies...

We all fall down!

This would be my brother in law, Jeff. He is trying to look serious.

My wife took this. I think it is a mug shot.

This is Lisa (Church kid) in a bib. Lisa is cute in a bib.

Here is Lisa again. We are at Jon's Birthday party, in Sun Lakes.

Hey. This is Jeff. He is my brother-in-law.

These are a few of my kids. Kids, kids, kids. I think they need to do school, not lay around in bed!

We took a four day trip up to the ranch (03/16/2007 - 03/19/2007) with Pa, Ma, and J.T. joining us for the first three days. This and the next five pictures were taken at what the kids call "the Canyon". Really, it is a hole in the ground on the lot to the north of us. It's one of thier favorite places to go. Here we have Jacob and Geneva, playing in the dirt.

This is Laurent and Melissa (neighbor kid), sitting a top the canyon.

This is a better picture because it is taken from inside the canyon. I think that the kids are in the process of getting ready for the next picture.

From left to right, J.T., Laurent, Melissa, Geneva, Jacob.

Enough of this picture taking stuff! Get me out of here!

J.T., climbing up one of the "canyon" walls.

This is the view, looking south from the "canyon". My property begins at the road.

Also looking south from the "canyon". Nice quonset, huh?

I didn't take this (or any of the preceeding ranch pictures). I think this is looking south from the "canyon".

Every time we go to the ranch, we hike to this falling down old shack, and every time we hike to this falling down shack, we take a picture of the kids in it. So, here is the "kids in the falling down shack picture" for this trip. Looks just like every other "kids in the falling down shack picture", except that this picture has J.T. in it.

J.T. and Melissa, standing up on top of what we call "Petroglyph Mountain" ('cuz thars petroglyphs up thar).

Megan and Ashley (neighbor kid), on top of "Petroglyph Mountain". These two are completely inseperable!

This is J.T., shooting off my .22. You may notice that J.T. is really too small to hold the rifle correctly (the butt is under his arm, not on his sholder). This causes the bullet to go much higher than where he thinks he is aiming it. In fact, the bullet will end up flying above the hillside into which he should be shooting. Good thing there is nothing in that direction for miles!

Poobie, how is likely to be hitting whatever she is aiming at.

Megan, who is REALLY likely to be hitting what she is aiming at.

Here is Jacob, who is trying to shoot my .22. See the comments above, where J.T. is shooting this gun...

My wife, Nettie, reading with her sunglasses on.

On Sunday, we all took a hike to Purcell Well. To get to Purcell Well, we have to cross Carrizo Wash. Here is Poobie, sliding down the "cliff", landing in the wash.

Button sliding down...

J.T. sliding down...

Mudge sliding down...

Mooms sliding down... The kids each did this "sliding down into the wash" thing several times, making the above pictures easy to get.

Pa & Ma, standing in the middle of Carrizo Wash (I think that Ma is trying to look older than she is, which is befuddeling).

Here we are, at Purcell Well. The kids are beating on the windmill with sticks, raising a racket that I'm sure could be heard for miles.

My wife is trying to teach them a little rythm here. You can see that she is trying to direct them...

This is one of those authentic "yup, you really are in the old west" pictures.

This is another authentic "yup, you really are in the old west" picture, taken so that I could be in an authentic "yup, you really are in the old west" picture.

J.T., at Pucell Well.

Guess which one is my son...

This month, we took many pictures of our kids in Saguaro Ranch Park, hoping that we would get one good picture of each kid, to have made into prints. As I just wrote, we took lots of pictures... I have put them all here, just for fun.
