Four miles straight west of our
ranch lies Alejandro Tank. I decided that I couldn't let a body of
water so close go unexplored, so I did the hike. Well, here it is. The
entire tank is surrounded by chain link fence, and is entirely owned by
SRP (who owns the power plant, which uses this tank to hold the water
associated with the electricity generation).

This is yet another view of our
property (I never seem to tire of taking photos of our property), taken
from Boney lake. If you look near the center of the picture, you'll see
our little quonset hut.

This is an official horny toad. Not sure why people call it a toad, since it is clearly a lizard.
