Jon, Jess, Nettie, and I had a tea party (actually, the girls had a tea party, Jon and I ignored the girls while they  had their tea party). I guess that the tea party was to celebrate the birthdays of Megan, Geneva, Gracie, and Kayla. Here are a bunch of kids, sitting on the couch, waiting for the tea party to commence.

Here is Gracie. As you can see, she is very excited for the tea party to begin.

ME! This is ME! I took this picture myself (using my brother's camera, of course).

OK. Here it is, the big tea party.

Kayla is closing her eyes for us.

The tea party spread.

Here is Mooms-Chucka, all dolled up for the big tea party.

Heather (Jessica's cousin), with JT.

Here is Genny-Enny-Dots, getting all made up for the big tea party.

Genny-Enny-Dots, after getting all made up.

Roo-Bucket, and Mooms-Chucka, in their tea party garb.

Kayla, closing her eyes for us again.

Kayla, opening up her presents.

Kayla, looking at one of her birthday presents.

Here is Mudge, ready for the tea party.

We went up to the ranch for four days the 6/3 - 6/7. This and the next 16 or so pictures are from that trip. This one is from a hike. This is west of our property a ways (the road you see goes next to our lot).

I took this picture because you can see almost all of our lot (except the bottom of the valley), just over the hill top.

On a hike again.

Like the picture a few back, this is just a view of our lot.

The older girls and I on a hike to what they call the "multi-colored mountain".

I thought this was a good view of part of the large valley near our lot. The "multi-colored mountain" is in there too.

Roo is a-shootin'!

Roo "bustin' some caps".

And she even hit what she was aiming at (from about 20 feet). Not bad!

Always the kids are digging holes!

Playing horseshoes in the newly constructed horseshoe pit.

Another game of horseshoes.

Playing Uno and eating popcorn in the tin shed.

This needs some explaining. My neighbors had their plots incorrectly surveyed, with the result being that the "caps" (also called "pins", here pictured) have the incorrect numbers on them. This means that they don't really own the property that they have purchased! This is a bad thing... That whole end of the quarter (square mile) in which my plot lies will have to be resurveyed. I took a picture of my two pins, just to have a record (I am lot 183, and my numbers are correct).

My other pin, at another corner of my plot.

Genny just lost a front tooth.

Nettie put Genny's hair in a buun, then took this picture of it.

Here is Roo.

Here are Roo's teeth. Notice the missing teeth (I think that was the point of this picture).

Genny-Enny-Dots, with her hair all done up.

Another picture of Mudge's hair.

I think I get the idea.

OK. This is the last picture of Genny's hair.
