Here, our lovely girls are putting up the Christmas tree. It is a great thing that they do this because it means that I don't have to.

Here, the Button-Clown is making his usual contribution to the effort.

Jeff and I decided to take the Church kids for a hike in South Mountain Park. Well, here we are. This is at the beginning of the hike, when everyone is still together.

More Church kids hiking...

These girls decided that they needed to stop for a bit and pose. Here is a picture of their pose.

And another picture, just to be sure.

My, aren't these kids tough?

Of all the kids that went on the hike, only these four (plus one who didn't want to be photographed) made it to the summit. Well, here they are, at the summit.

Every Christmas time, our Church participates in the Angle Tree program. The Angle Tree program gives gifts to children that have at least one parent in prison. Here is the first of several pictures from this year's event.

Every year, the clowns come and do a skit or two for the kids.

Two clowns, both clowning around.

Here they all are again, getting ready to get the goods!

Same as above.

Here we have Tweety, Katrina, and Button Boy.

These are the Nephews and Niece of Sandra.

Lisa and Lupe.

I have no idea who these people are, but they are a handsome couple!

What do you do with a Bucket of Roo?

More Angel Tree stuff. Lots-o-kids with a parent in prison in our zip-code, huh?

More clowning around.

On the way home from Church, one of the girls was misbehaving badly, causing me to slam on the brakes. Unfortunately, Roo was not buckled up, and her head went slamming into the windshield. Here it the result.

Another picture of where Roo's head smashed the windshield.

Merry Christmas! Here begins the collection of pictures from our 2005 Christmas celebration. This Christmas, we decided to do a Christmas play. They kids here are in the "stable".

The play continues.

The music for the play (which had Christmas hymns interlaced) was provided by Jon.

Nettie is narrating (or maybe she is singing).

The shepherds (notice the shepherds crook) are coming to see Jesus.

Mooms, the Angel, declares the good news.

Kayla is singing her solo.

More singing.

Jon and I went to the ranch for a day.

We also went for a hike. In a canyon, we found this ice.

This cliff is really green (greener than it looks in this picture).

Jon inside a Hohokam ruin.

Jon bustin' some caps.

Notice the new bell mounted on the post. That was Ne--ie's Christmas present.
