I went on a backpacking trip to Eagletail Mountains Wilderness Area. This sign in at one of the entrances.

It doesn't really show in this picture, but this hill was green in color, because the pebbles that are covering it are all green. An unual site!

Rock formations in Eagletail.

Half-way up a cliff (on the way to the arch, below), I found this "cave". Obviosly, some sort of deer (likely a Big Horn) was using this recently!

One of the natural arches in Eagletail.

View from the natural arch (above).

A close up view of the natural arch.

A not so close up view of the arch.

An interesting rock.

Some pretty flowers.

Somewhere in Eagletail...

Anvil Rock -- in Eagletail.

The entrance to a large cave (it really is big) in Eagletail.

The cave again.

This was an awful camping site (as far as sleeping goes), but the view was terrific. Around 2am, with a full moon, I could see the same distant mountains clearly!

Um, huh?

My not-so-good campsite.

Sunrise in Eagletail.

We just converted the porch into an office. Here is the new office!

More new office...

Outside of new office.

On a vacation... Here is Button (the "Train-Freak"), next to a real train in Flagstaff.

Button and the train again.

OK, so here is the family and the train.

Inside the train station.

Door to the trains (or so says the sign).

We visited the observatory in Flagstaff (that was all for ME). This is one of the telescopes.

Same telescope.

Same 'scope again.

Still the same telescope. I must have been impressed!

You guessed it. Still the same telescope.

This is the building that houses the telescope that discovered Pluto!

And this is the telescope that discovered Pluto!

Same telescope (did I mention that it discovered Pluto?).

The Grand Canyon. Purdy.

The Grand Canyon is still purdy.

Our kids, on a log, on the rim of the Grans Canyon.

SNOW!!!!!

WAIT -- DON'T JUMP!

Who, us?

I wonder why we are not facing the camera?

Is this the same picture? Guess not...

Another picture.

This is a picture.

Roo is making Mommy nervous.

Aren't we just a special little group of tourists?

Oh. Awe. Wow.

Inside a tower that sits on the rim.

This is the Grand Canyon. Have I mentioned this before?

Meg, sitting in a thing.

Here is the outside of the tower that sits on the rim.

This would be the Grand Canyon. Ever seen it?

Rediculous girl.

One more Grand Canyon pic.
